Message while my car was being worked on a few years ago, the mechanic put this steel extension which was about 10" long on the impact gun, the other end of that extension fitted the lug-nuts perfectly so there was no need for a socket. He used that to screw the wheel in place. He told me that this extension provided the right amount of torque, and he had about 5 of them, which were color coded by torque values. Well, I never found these tools for sale anywhere and I never understood how they worked...it wasn't a regular torque wrench which turns freely when the right torque is reached, but more like a regular steel extension with a narrow neck. Been looking for those ever since! Ever heard of anything like that?

Thanks

George
